Join us for this immersive release of Kahrin's sophomore album, Poems from Willow Creek!
This album and its respective release show is a tribute to Kahrin's Papa, L. Joseph Spear.
In 1996, he wrote a book of poetry titled Poems from Willow Creek and believed it would have no literary impact on the world.
In 2020, Kahrin had an epiphany that she was being called to turn that book of poetry into an album to honor him; to help him see just how impactful his words really are.
This event is the official release party of that album. But it's so much more than that.
It's a collaborative exhibition combining Kahrin's love of music, photography, videography, writing, painting, and Mother Earth.
It's an invitation to connect more closely with our ancestors and elders.
It's an opportunity to look within.
It's a safe space to sing and dance. To laugh and cry.
And most of all... it's a chance to celebrate art, healing and family.
