Description

Dear Colleagues, I am excited to welcome all members of the Regis community – students, faculty, and staff – to a series of open dialogue sessions this spring called “Campus Conversations.” We are a people deeply motivated by our mission to build a more just and humane world, and while a rich variety of ways of understanding and engaging our mission abound among us, we are a community with a clear focus and a big heart. For this reason, I want to enter our Campus Conversations in the spirit of the Mission Priority Examen that we began in 2021. We will briefly touch on the results of the MPE process to frame our conversations, but from there will keep the conversations open-ended, as I want to hear from you. My hope is that these conversations will feed directly into our process of strategic planning. For this reason, I encourage each of you to attend one or more of the conversations dedicated to faculty and staff. I will be meeting with students as well, kicking off those conversations next week. The faculty and staff conversations will follow in early March. We invite you to join one of five sessions in Main Hall (and one virtually for remote employees) this spring. I look forward to these conversations, as we imagine together how best to continue in our work of transformative education at the frontiers of faith, reason, and culture. Kindly, Salvador D. Aceves, Ed.D President
