Celebrate spring at Ten Broeck! Spring/Easter egg hunt in the Ten Broeck Gardens and art contest. In case of rain, program will be held in light drizzle (please bring umbrellas and rain boots), but will be cancelled if there is heavy rain. Recommended ages: ages 3-12. Prizes are free art and school supplies, Easter treats, snacks, and free take-home art discovery kits. Children are welcome to bring their own Easter Baskets to use during the hunt.Free decorated tote bags will be provided. Free spring blooms art project (weather permitting).For children ages 3 and up. A responsible adult must be with each group of children during the program. Please wear shoes/sneakers and clothes for being outside and walking on uneven surfaces. Please no running. Please stay within boundary lines of hunt.Older children are welcome, but are asked to let younger children discover eggs at their own pace. Participants who run, push, or cut off other children will be asked to leave. Prizes: school supplies, Easter treats, snacks, and more!Please park in our parking lot (off Livingston Avenue).In case of heavy rain, event will be cancelled. Pre-registered participants will be notified via email.Art Contest: free Spring art contest coloring kits will be avialable in the Ten Broeck Mansion gardens kiosk (along the gravel path) starting March 24. One kit per child. Please follow the instructions to submit your artwork via email, and pick up your prize on Friday April 7 between 11 am and noon in the Ten Broeck Gardens. Children may also participate in Easter Egg Hunt at this time (please pre-register). Note: picture below is of Easter Art contest prize from previous year. This year will have different prizes.
