Local and internationally known experts will present important, contemporary information that will broaden current thinking while covering treatment protocols that can improve the health of young people living with Sickle Cell Disease. The sessions are open to the public. All attendees will be provided with information about available resources and current trends in the field of Sickle Cell pediatrics.
Over its fifty years, Martin Center Sickle Cell Initiative has served hundreds of thousands of individuals throughout Indiana, including those served through Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) and Sickle Cell Trait (SCT) screening, cholesterol and high blood pressure screening, syphilis testing, SCD education, health education, food pantry, support groups, financial assistance and, general referrals and counseling.
