A one-day introduction to the world of landscape design and creation open to rising 9th through 12th graders.
Students will get the chance to work through a landscape design and then create a garden space. They will also learn about a variety of topics related to the world of landscape design and maintenance, including equipment and tool usage, plant identification, irrigation, and plant propagation. This one-day camp will be a great opportunity for students to spend time outside learning how to move some earth and beautify the world around them!
Students will be responsible for their lunch, drinks, and snacks throughout the day. Please bring a refillable water bottle with a lid each day.
Dress Code: Students must wear long pants; shirt/ top with sleeves; and closed toe/ heel shoes (like tennis shoes) no flip flops or sandals.
