We have an exciting, brand new, never before done, Tennis Play Day with the UNC Club Tennis Team to announce. This is an opportunity for Special Olympics/Abilities Athletes, family members of athletes, SOOC coaches/volunteers, and others to play together. All Levels welcome including those new to tennis. There will be Skills, Short Court, and Full Court. Invite your friends! The UNC Club Tennis Team (approximately 25 of them) will be running this new event, teaching, leading drills, picking up balls, etc. They promise to bring extra Tar Heel Spirit! Players will rotate between drills, unified doubles, games, and rest periods for anticipated snacks and other activities. Athletes, invite your family to come Play Tennis. Coaches/Volunteers, this is YOUR opportunity to Play and Drill WITH the athletes and UNC Club Team. The UNC Club Team will be running the drills so come play some short and/or full court tennis. When: Saturday, April 15th 12:30-3:30 pm (outdoors and weather dependent) What: UNC Club Tennis Abilities/Special Olympics Benefit Event at CHTC Where: The Chapel Hill Tennis Club (403 Westbrook Drive, Carrboro) Who: Abilities/Special Olympics Athletes (skills, short court, full court) - Come to Practice and Play "Unified" Tennis (and teach others a thing or two about tennis and life). Parents/Siblings of Athletes (any level welcome) - Come to Practice and Play "Unified" Tennis (and learn a thing or two about tennis and life). Abilities/SOOC Coaches/Volunteers (any level welcome) - Come to Practice and Play "Unified" Tennis (and learn a thing or two about tennis and life).
