2023 marks the 55th Anniversary of the federal Fair Housing Act, a landmark piece of legislation that alongside Iowa's Civil Rights Act helps ensure everyone in our community has equal housing opportunity. Join your hosts as we celebrate some of the organizations and individuals working to realize that vision. You'll hear inspiring stories highlighting the difference being made in Polk County. More details about our program and honorees will be posted soon. The event begins with a reception offering light refreshments and resource tables by several local organizations. Then you'll enjoy a program honoring organizations and people helping our community make progress. This is a free community event, but please pre-register through this page if you plan to attend.
