Charismatic Creations and Fairhill Dreams, Inc presents our 3rd annual Spirited Sole Garden! Join us at Wild Days Rooftop for the dopest sneaker party in DC! Wear your favorite/flyest sneakers, capture moments at our photo station, dance to great music by Ebb King, Jordan Jetson + Mathias, and sip on crafted cocktails & non-alcoholic beverages with ingredients from local Black and Brown farmers! A percentage of every ticket sale will go towards us purchasing new sneakers and donating them to a DC organization! American agriculture was built on the backs of Black farmers. But farmers of color – and especially Black farmers – have experienced a long history of discrimination. Over a century, black farmers were stripped of 80% of their farmland, amounting to millions of acres and hundreds of billions of dollars in lost wealth. This staggering loss didn’t happen by accident: it’s the result of decades of government-sanctioned discrimination. By highlighting the Black/Brown farmers in our region, we hope people will become more intentional & start to purchase from them! Studies have proved that 66% of most foot health issues are prevalent in impoverished communities because they don't have the means to purchase shoes that fit or are unable to keep their shoes dry. By donating new shoes to these organizations, we hope to decrease these health issues in our community! We'll be releasing Sponsor info soon!! Stay tuned! Tickets are available for purchase!
