The Hope Gala is an evening of celebration during which we recognize individuals with mental health conditions, commemorating their gutsy recovery journeys. The event includes comeback stories, a knockout silent auction, an ace DJ, an all-star awards ceremony, a full lineup of foods to fill you up, and so much more! Host: Dave Seymour Nationally Recognized Real Estate Expert and Star of A&E's Flipping Boston. As both a residential and commercial real estate investor, Dave Seymour has become one of the most recognizable experts in his field. His unabridged passion for business and real estate put him on the radar of the A&E television network as well as multiple news organizations, including CBS, ABC, CNBC, FOX News, and CNN. New York Times reported that Dave Seymour’s series ‘Flipping Boston’ posted the highest ratings ever for the A&E network at the time of airing. The Hope Award The Hope Award recognizes individuals who have shared their personal struggles and have used their experiences to raise awareness, promote hope and understanding, and inspire others. The recipient of this award has demonstrated a commitment to promoting awareness and support, and to encouraging others to seek help and find hope in overcoming their own challenges. Trenni Casey Trenni (Kusnierek) Casey is a sports anchor at NCB 10 Boston, and the host of Arbella Early Edition. She has worked in the sports journalism field since 2000 starting her career in Eau Claire, WI, and since has worked in Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Boston, and at the national level for MLB Network, ABC Sports, and Big Ten Network. Trenni has openly shared her personal experiences with depression and anxiety, including her article on the importance of self-care for athletes. Through her work, she inspires others to seek help and raises awareness of the crucial role that mental wellness plays in sports. Trenni is a true advocate and inspiration in the fight for mental health. The Toni A. Wolf Power of Change Award The Toni A. Wolf Power of Change Award recognizes a local individual, group, or business within the MetroWest or North County community that has made outstanding contributions to improving the mental well-being of the residents. This award honors those who have gone above and beyond in providing support, resources, and advocacy for those struggling with mental health conditions. The recipient of this award has shown a deep commitment to promoting mental health awareness and reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness within the community. They have demonstrated a dedication to improving the lives of those in need and have made a significant impact in the community. Additionally, they have been a committed partner to our organization in their efforts to assist those with mental health conditions. Chris Malloy Chris Malloy is an attorney at law and partner of Moriarty Troyer & Malloy LLC, a full-service Massachusetts-based condominium law and real estate law firm. In December 2020 Chris Malloy founded Malloy Will Match, a fund that matches up to $20,000 to a select group of Massachusetts-based charitable organizations that address needs related to food insecurity, housing and shelter, mental health, and children-based organizations which support kids dealing with these circumstances.
