Join us on April 15 from 10:00 am-2:00 pm to learn about sustainable food production and help plant spring vegetables for the already-producing market garden at First Christian Church. First Christian Church grows food for their church and their surrounding communities. Their garden is productive and their garden champions spend a lot of time tending to it. Help us provide support for them as they prepare for the most productive time of the year!
This public, hands-on workday will be held for spring planting, removing winter crops, tending to fruit trees, and other needed maintenance at the First Christian Peace Garden, providing an opportunity to learn about permanent beds, and permaculture.
This project is in partnership with First Christian Church.
