As part of our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, we are teaming up with CCH to provide a convenient and responsible way for local residents to dispose of their electronic materials.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 29th, from 9am to 12pm, in the Covington Catholic High School parking lot. All types of recyclable materials will be accepted but we do have a list of unaccepted materials.
For the safety of all participants, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing these materials:
Free Flowing Liquids associated with scrap (gasoline, oil, paint, antifreeze, etc)
Appliances (Microwaves, Ovens, Televisions, Washers, etc)
Hazardous Materiels / Waste (PCBs, Asbestos, Cadmium)
Explosives and Ammunition
Corrosive Materials (other than batteries)
Biological agents or biohazards
Pressurized or closed containers
Flammable Materials
Tires
Storage Drums
This event is open to all members of the community, regardless of whether they have a connection to Covington Catholic High School. We encourage everyone to participate and do their part in reducing e-waste. It's a great opportunity to get rid of unwanted items cluttering up your home while also benefiting the environment.
By working together as a community, we can make a real difference in preserving our planet for future generations. We hope to see you there!
