The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office Investigation Unit is comprised of the Major Crimes Unit, General Crimes Unit, Special Victims Unit, and Special Investigation Unit. Our detectives are tasked with investigating complex cases affecting many citizens throughout Stanislaus County, whether it be fraud, theft, or crimes up to homicide, drugs, or sexual assault. We’ve created a community event, which our investigations unit will host where we give back, provide resources and focuses on those in need in our communities. On April 20th, 2023, we will host “A Day With Detectives.” The event will be open to the public and held at Oregon Park from 3-5 PM and Fairview Park from 6-8 PM. We plan to come together in these communities to meet people and provide dinner to them and their families. During the event, we have partnered with community organizations to have their members present and available to share access to information on resources for their specific needs. We will also be giving away items for the kids.
