Do you find yourself thinking about the many paths that lie ahead for your child, wondering what skills they will need to be successful in an unknown future? Join us as we come together to examine the many unique opportunities for growth in the final year of our Montessori Program: the Full Cycle year. At this gathering we will explore: - Why we call them "cycles" instead of referring to children by their ages - the skills children need to thrive in this constantly changing world - the unique activities and experiences available in the extended day community during the kindergarten and first grade years - the materials we use to introduce and refine reading, writing, and arithmetic *We are so excited to announce that we will be offering childcare for all ages and a dinner/ heavy snack option at this event provided by our Middle School Acton eagles. Donations for childcare are encouraged, as they are raising money for their recent trip to Central Texas to attend a multi-school Winter Ball. You can indicate if you need childcare when you RSVP by selecting from one of the two ticket add-ons, Childcare or Childcare w/Dinner option. This is the first of a two-part series that is designed to connect you to the hallmarks of the first six years in our program. Our next Educational Parent Gathering will explore the first 5 years on May 11th. We hope to see you soon!
