The McHenry County Vegan Group, led by Carol Ann Ripple and John Grossman is teaming up with the amazing people at the Blue Lotus Buddhist Temple for a vegan all-you-can-eat buffet! We love integrating our community with those who are interested in trying unique and authentic food, as well as meeting new people! The cost is $35/person, and will include the following delicious dishes: Dhal Curry Coconut Sambol Mixed Vegetable Curry with Coconut Milk Cabbage Mallum with Coconut Vegetable Fried Rice Deviled Potatoes The menu is both 100% vegan and gluten-free, and is made on site by the monks of the temple. They offer a great assortment of vegan options, so this is the perfect way to get to try several items off of their menu! This event will take place on Saturday, April 8 at the Blue Lotus Buddhist Temple located at 221 Dean Street in Woodstock, IL from 4PM-6PM. Parking is both in front and behind the temple. There is also a big parking lot in front of the temple, next to the city hall. Tickets must be purchased by April 6 on Eventbrite.
