Description

This training aims to improve law enforcement’s engagement with veterans in crisis. The training will cover post-deployment issues that combat veterans may experience, Post-Traumatic Stress, suicide prevention, practical tips for responding to veterans in crisis, and resources available from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and other veteran-focused governmental entities. Participants will also get an introduction to the 16th Judicial Circuit’s Veterans and Servicemembers Treatment Court.
