Calling all runners, walkers, and dog lovers!! Welcome to the 14th annual Cedar Bend Humane Society Furry 5K Run/Walk! Join us for a fun-filled morning on Saturday, May 20th, 2023! This community fun run event is open to all animal lovers and their K-9 companions. Participants will run twice around the scenic Big Woods lake, joined by their furry friends, for an exciting adventure they won't forget! Also get to visit with sponsor booths and other family friendly activities. Bring your dog! Individuals with dogs are encouraged to bring their pet along for the fun while you complete the 5K. For everyone's safety, please no retractable leashes; leash lengths no longer than six feet; no female dogs in heat; dogs must be on a leash at all times; all dogs must be current on vaccines. If available, some adoptable dogs at CBHS will be there to cheer you on in a meet and greet area! Taking photos and videos to share is a must! Use #CBHSFurry5K to get involved on social media. All proceeds raised at this event will be used to provide ongoing medical care at CBHS! Your participation is life-saving. We hope to see you there! Registration Pre-registration will open on April 1st! $45: Receive a commemorative CBHS Furry 5K t-shirt and a swag bag from our sponsors. To guarantee a t-shirt and a swag bag, you must register no later than May 11th at Noon. When/Where May 20th, 2023 Race Starts at 9 am! Participants are encouraged to arrive between 7:45 - 8:45 am.
