Description
Welcome to one of our weekly beer run events! We are happy to have you join, the more the merrier. • We start and finish at a local brewery and usually have a 2-mile or 5-km(3.5mi) route set up for everyone. Most of our routes are set up to hit the least street lights and make use of public multi-use trails when possible. *You can also find this run and other events on the free app Meetup in the App Store. Lookup The Beer Run Club. Where to meet: Outside the brewery, once most people have arrived and we are near the Meetup time we'll head out. • Feel free to bring some friends along, your dog, or anyone else you'd like to run and have a beer with. Or feel free to stick your headphones in and crush your personal best too if you'd like. This group is just to get the community together to exercise, have some fun, and meet new people. Feel free to run, jog, or walk at your own pace. Or just come for the beer. • Route Directions: This route runs from the brewery and then takes a left onto the iron horse trail until Crow Canyon or Norris Canyon for a shorter route. • Then hang a right and right and come back down Alcosta Blvd. This will bring you along or (within if you would like) San Ramon Central Park. • Then one more right at Bollinger Canyon and you are back to the brewery and shopping center (City Center @ BR). Below is a link to the running map. Let me know if it is not accessible. A pretty easy route, flat, all multi-use trail and sidewalks for approximately a 5k. • There are multiple ways to shorten the route if you would like such as turning at Norris instead of crow canyon instead to save about a mile. If you have any questions about the route(s), feel free to let me know as I am always looking for improvements. Times/days of the week may adjust for this meetup as this group finds what works best for everyone. **You may want a headlamp for running until daylight savings occurs.** Prost! Have a great run, thanks for attending!
