Please join us for a community conversation with Midway Rising - the team selected by the City of San Diego to revitalize the Midway District and Sports Arena. The project includes over 4,000 new homes, including 2.000 affordable units and will create 8,500 new jobs. Their proposal estimates this transformative opportunity will generate over $27 million a year in revenue for city services, in addition to over $7 billion in positive economic impact for the region. Moderated by our President and CEO Tad Parzen, the Midway Rising leadership team will present their proposal and vision and engage in a dialogue with our community on how we can maximize the potential of this project and bring the most value to the city while addressing challenges in housing, providing a healthy and sustainable environment, traffic and transit issues and job creation. The Burnham Community Dialogue is a speaker series that will help us build a common space where issues of the day come to light, and where we can hear from regional and global experts and share our diverse and inclusive views on topics.
