You’re invited to the Zentangle® Crazy Quilt Opus Tile in-person class with Nancy Domnauer, Certified Zentangle Teacher on Friday, June 2 from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm at the Morgan Hill Community and Cultural Center in downtown Morgan Hill, California. Enjoy a day of creating Zentangle art in-community as we tangle beautiful patterns on a Zentangle Opus tile. Beginning with a ‘crazy quilt’ inspired reticulum, we’ll tangle an array of patterns on a large, 10.5” Zentangle Opus tile. We’ll add tangle enhancers, shading and special touches too. We’ll explore the Zentomology of pattern types as we tangle circular, linear, organic, grid, blossoming, and dramatic patterns. This half-day, in-person workshop is a way to treat yourself to time for creating Zentangle art while enjoying social time with a group of Zentangle artists. We’re thrilled to be hosting an in-person gathering again!MATERIALS PROVIDED: Students will receive a Zentangle Opus tile, a plastic sleeve for the tile and a few surprises. SUPPLIES TO BRING: Please bring your Sakura Micron 01 or PN black ink pen, Micron 08 pen, graphite pencil, tortillon and any of your favorite tangling supplies.LUNCH: Please bring your lunch (refrigerator available on-site), snacks and a bottle of water. We’ll have a half-hour lunch recess during the workshop.LOCATION: This is an in-person class at The Morgan Hill Community and Cultural Center, 17000 Monterey Road, Morgan Hill, California.HOW TO REGISTER: This workshop is open to experienced Zentangle students only. Class size is limited and registration is open on a first-come, first-served basis. A waiting list will form once the workshop is full, so please contact [email protected] to add your name to the list.REGISTRATION FEE: $80 This fee covers the instruction, supplies and room rental fee. REFUND POLICY: Refunds must be requested prior to Monday, May 22, 2023 and if we’re able to fill your space with someone from the waiting list, then you will receive a refund less a $15 processing fee. If we’re unable to fill your space with another participant, then we there will be no refund. Refunds requested after May 22 can’t be given due to room rental restrictions.
