October 21 | 9 AM – 3 PM | Charleston Southern UniversityWe live in an age of anxiety. As reported by many studies, the state of teen mental health continues to decline. Thoughtful observers recognize that there is a link between teens’ anxiety and our current culture’s inability to grasp God’s nature and character as presented in Scripture. Our God is a loving, holy, sovereign source of refuge. In earlier times, Christian theologians wrote profound confessions to help believers understand God in order to provide comfort, strength, and security. At this year’s Endure conference, Mike McGarry and CSU’s College of Christian Studies professors will share with students core statements about who God is and what He is like. They will learn to bring their anxiety and struggles to Him, for He is a God believers can trust.
