Each year the Diocesan Board of the Episcopal Church Women (ECW) sponsors a retreat for all the women of the Dioces and friend. We are honored to have Dr. Bertice Berry as our keynote speake. She is an internationally known speaker, who defies stereotypes , generalizations or cliches more than she. Bestselling author of several books; among them her hilarious Ghetto books, the novel, Jim and Louella’s Heart Fix Remedy, and her newest novel, Blackworld. She has been featured on numerous television program, including The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Tonight Show, ABC’s 20/20 and NPR’s Tell Me More. She has appeared at TEDx Savannah as well.
