Ready to work hard and give back to the community? Our large community garden was torn down last year and is ready to be rebuilt to serve the community once again. Volunteers will assemble garden beds, set them in place, and fill them with soil. Pathways need to be covered in woodchips. Greentown Grows will supply shovels and wheelbarrows. Recommended to bring: Work glovesSomething to drinkDress for the weather and possible mudTo find the garden: Look for the Waukegan BMX sign on Yorkhouse Rd. Turn into the parking lot for BMX and go to the end of the parking lot.
