Spring Fever - Catch it! Our first stop is at Garden Fever Nursery, located in the heart of the Irving District of Portland. We'll arrive before the store is opened so one of the owners of the nursery can give us a short garden talk. Then we will be free to wander around this unique garden nursery. It features garden gifts, perennials, house plants, and much, much more! Our next stop will be at Hughes Water Gardens in Tualatin, OR. It was established in 1987 by Eamann Hughes. It is nestled in a peaceful country setting just south of Portland and includes retail and wholesale nursery operations, as well as several display gardens and a large nursery. Our group will receive a demonstration from a nursery expert on creating a small home water feature. We will also have opportunity to explore the display gardens and have time to shop. After leaving Hughes we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Vancouver.
