Join us in the fun with our local ceramics painting instructor as we paint a beautiful filigree and lemon design on a ceramic platter to welcome Spring!Experience Level: IntermediateOur local ceramics teacher, Cindy Woods, will be showing techniques and instructing how to paint with glaze on a ceramic platter (approx 13" x 8" rectangular shape platter). Platter and painting supplies will be provided. There will be complimentary coffee and tea. Please see our "add on" option for box lunch choices if you would like to have lunch during class. Attendees will each paint their own platter. The glaze on the platter will need to be fired in the kiln by the instructor, and they can be picked up within approximately a week to take home. Registered attendees only please. Ages 14+ (minors must be registered and accompanied by a registered adult attendee). About the Teacher: Cindy Woods is an experienced instructor and is currently the Secretary for the International Association of Ceramics. She found her love for ceramics in 2003 and became certified with Duncan, Mayco and Gare. She has taught at conventions, retreats, and private on-site classes. Cindy and her husband take custom ceramic orders and participate in several seasonal craft bazaars.
