This class will be led by local performer, writer and long time comedian, Sabrina Pratt. This six week series will include techniques for generating content, best practices for taking your content and crafting it into jokes. The class & instructors will provide positive feedback and you will be able to workshop your material with input from other stand up comedians. This class is a great way to work out your set. Come in with an idea and we will work to craft it into a stand up set. The class will include time to workshop your material, exercises for generating content, and performance practice. The class structure is positive, supportive and no prior experience is required! Performing your own stand up material in front of a live audience is one of the riskiest AND MOST REWARDING things you can do! The entire class is a 6 week series.
