Recovery Friendly Congregation Launch - Littleton

Other

355 Union Street,Littleton NH 03561

Description

Our vision is to reduce the stigma of shame surrounding addictions and mental health disorders. Shame leads to isolation, preventing individuals and families from seeking help and support. No one should suffer alone. We envision congregations that lead with compassion and provide hope, healing, resources and support to their own congregants and the community. We are excited for the opportunity to educate and equip congregations with the knowledge and resources about substance use disorder so that we can all be better prepared to lead with love and know how to support those individuals who have been affected by this, directly or indirectly. The goal is to activate the community within each congregation to utilitze their skillsets and encourage connection, which is what congregations do best. "The opposite of addiction is not sobriety. It's connection." Please join us to hear Greg Delaney tell his story and to learn more about how you and your congregation can make a difference in your community!
