The Z-Factor Leadership Program is an in-school and community-based program, that combines mentoring support, and leadership and career exposure for Elementary, Middle, and High School Students. Our goal is to develop relationships that positively impact our greatest resource - Our Youth. These relationships are a shared opportunity for learning and growth to help grow our leaders for tomorrow! In collaboration with Sheffield City Schools, the students have decided to host a Z-Factor Sheffield City Clean Up. Why is this clean-up project beneficial? To Help Keep our City and Communities Clean! No one likes to pick up trash left behind by others, but we do love the beauty of the communities where we live. Keeping our neighborhoods, streets, and roadways clean can have a huge impact and demonstrate to others just how much we care about our community. Won’t you join with us? The event will be held on “Earth Day”, Saturday, April 22, 2023, 9am-noon. We will be set-up for registration that morning at Sheffield City Hall, 600 N Montgomery Avenue. There will be refreshments and all you need to help – gloves, vests, reaching tools, trash bags, and assignment of your pick-up route. It promises to be a fun, safe, and beneficial day! Should your church, business, or organization wish to donate and support these young people’s efforts, we would be honored to recognize you at the registration site and post clean up activities. We will award prizes to participants at the conclusion of the event. Come celebrate the FUN and our YOUTH!! Your investment in our youth today, will payoff with positive leaders for tomorrow.
