At our meeting, in addition to elections, approval of program and budget, recognitions, and recaps of our year’s activities, we will honor the work of Marilynn Wills and her Citizens for Ethics Reform colleagues whose passion for ethical and transparent government brought about the Independent Ethics Board. Other member names you will likely recognize include Peter Butzin, our speaker, Ben Wilcox, Catherine Baer, and Richard Herring. Marilynn Wills passed away recently following a long illness. Enjoy a Taste of the League with your favorite beverage, cheese, and fruit. Meander through the information tables, and story boards highlighting our Action Committee work. Socialize to your heart’s content (right up to 4:30PM!) We will also have new member information and a table set up for you to Renew Your Membership – easy-breezy We encourage you to bring friends and relatives for an informative, educational, and enjoyable event. For all voting members -leaguers, please arrive earlier, starting at 1:45pm as the business portion of the meeting will be gaveled to order promptly at 2pm. You must register for the event as seating is limited. Registration will close April 14th. LWV Tallahassee will cover the cost of food and non-alcoholic beverages.
