WE INVITE YOU, our brothers and sisters to be a part of this year’s two-day 2023 Freedom Fund events. Day one will be a Town Hall which will include President Derrick Johnson discussing issues impacting the black community while posing plausible solutions to and with local leaders. Day two will be a private event at Top Golf in which a conversation with local leaders to discuss how they can fully engage with the NAACP led by Chairman Leon Russell. The theme of this year’s Freedom Fund event is based upon the book authored by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., entitled, “Where Do We Go From Here: Community or Chaos.” The South Dade Branch invites you, Freedom Fighters, to be a part of this auspicious occasion and historic moment and ask that you to consider being a sponsor, purchase a bay for the Top Golf event, or make a donation in support of this endeavor. We appreciate all of the work each of you have done, respectively, and hope to see you in South Florida for this two-day empowerment event. Note, any ticket purchases of less than eight will be grouped in a Top Golf bay with other purchasers to complete the total of eight per bay. Ticket group purchasers MUST purchase their tickets at the same time to be assigned to the same bay during the event.
