Bring your pruning shears to this workshop because you can collect cuttings from native shrubs and learn how to prepare them properly for propagating in water or potting mix. Pint-size water bottles and water will be supplied. A demonstration will also be given on preparing a cutting to propagate in potting mix. If interested, feel free to bring your own small containers filled with potting mix (on a solid tray or in a container that will hold water), so you can get your cuttings prepared and placed in the pots to take home. You will also get hands-on experience germinating seeds in paper towels. All supplies will be provided for this activity.
