Maddie is un-tetherable, exuberant, fierce as hell, and relentlessly loving and creative. This event is for everyone who has ever loved maddie (whether for weeks, months or years) to celebrate the world she created--this includes the expanse of community and friends they've made, the stories, poetry, music, and the openings of possibility and transformation she left in people's lives. It is important that this event reflect the breadth and depth of Maddie's life and community, so if you have the funds to donate for travel expenses for Maddie's friends who would otherwise not be able to make it to Denver, you can donate by visiting the GOFUNDME here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/travel-funds-for-maddies-friends If you need help paying for plane tickets please email [email protected] to hook you up with a flight! We hope to see everyone for this massive Maddie show- and - tell. Wear your best Maddie-inspired outfit, Bring your favorite picture, favorite story, favorite letter, voice memo, video, gift, etc that Maddie left you. Or simply bring yourself as a gift. Because you are one of the precious things that Maddie left on this earth. The event is from 1pm to 4pm at the Mercury Cafe. There will be music, poetry, memoribilia, snacks, and drinks. After 4pm we will no longer have the private event space, but folks are welcome to linger at the Merc for dinner and drinks after the event. PLEASE RSVP BY THE END OF FEBRUARY !!!!!!!!!
