Description

Portland Bureau of Emergency Management offers a wide range of community trainings to help build prepared, resilient communities. In this introductory class, attendees will help choose the top 3 areas of emergency preparedness they are interested and PBEM will offer targeted instruction to the most requested items. Topics include: Identifying potential hazards and safer places at your home, creating a family communication and reunification plan, gathering important household documents, preparing a disaster supply kit, preparing for companion/service animals, mental health first aid, CPR/ First aid, and fire safety.
