It all began with the adoption of a one-eyed Shih-Tzu named Chewy... Laber of Love Pet Rescue, a unique fospice (foster hospice) program, works with skilled and loving volunteers to foster special needs pets living in local animal shelters. Formed in August 2019 by longtime animal advocates Joe and Nicole Laber, the organization focuses on helping dogs and cats that no one else wants due to the need for specialized medical care or because of serious behavioral issues. Fospice pets are living longer lives, and they are spending their days in warm, caring environments. The Labers' love for these often-overlooked pets is infectious, and their passion for giving back inspired a team of downtown Tipp City businesses to join forces for a fashion show benefitting their cause. Your ticket gains you access to an upbeat event showcasing comfortable, practical fashions for women of all shapes and sizes. Our models, ranging in size from small to 4X, are everyday women who look just like you! Styles presented will be a mix of selections available from both unboxed boutique and Serendipity Paper Co. Join in the fun by having your photo taken too! The team at unboxed boutique will post all photos in the Facebook event during the days following the fashion show. Light snacks and a dessert will be served during this event, and a cash bar is available for those who wish to partake. Street parking is available.
