The Village Nation and UCSB Department of Black Studies invites your scholars to enjoy a turnaround day trip UC Santa Barbara! Calling All Black Student Union (BSU) Scholars! The Village Nation has partnered with UC Santa Barbara's Department of Black Studies to host the first of its kind, A California Black College Experience at UC Santa Barbara on The goal of the trip is to BREAK ISOLATION & NETWORK with other BSU Students from all over. Event: TVN's California Black College Experience/Tour @ UC Santa Barbara Date: Thursday, April 27th 8:00am - 3:00pm Trip Cost: $3,500/per busload (10:1 Chaperone ratio required, max of 50 per bus) BUS: Bus expense and arrangements are to be made by the school/organization. TVN is not responsible for transportation expenses. To maximize the time at UCSB, departure must be at 8:00am. A return time of 3:00pm is expected. LUNCH: A catered hot lunch will be provided to all attendees. (Beachfront dinning may be offered, weather permitted.) ATTIRE: Participant are encouraged to wear school BSU shirts . TVN T-shirts/hoodies are available for purchase as an addition to the trip.
