Please join us in welcoming Mike Benigno , of Holland Avenue Soap Company, for his very first Pop Up Shop at Nest! Mike will be here for a meet and greet to introduce his line of all-natural handmade soaps and shampoo bars.Since 2021, Holland Avenue Soap Company has created unique, cold process bar soaps inspired by the ocean. They blend purified seawater with the finest quality raw ingredients and essential oils to produce soaps that feel luxurious, contain just the right balance of plant-based fats, and smell great. Some of their special varieties also contain garden-grown plants and herbs. 10% of sales support free surf lessons for young people in Far Rockaway, Queens. Mike Benigno began making handcrafted bar soaps in 2021. Mike developed a lifelong connection to the Atlantic Ocean as a native of Rockaway Beach, Queens. He and his wife, Ellen, are active members of the Beach 91 Street Community Garden, which aims to build community and increase health and well-being with sustainable gardening. Mike is also a professional photographer focused on music and the arts.
