The Dream Awards will honor the following legends: Model, Journalist and Actress, Jayne Kennedy Overton. R& B lead singer, Ray, Goodman and Brown , Billy Brown, ABC-7 Anchor, Hosea Sanders, The Duke of Earl, Gene Chandler, Music Entrepreneur, George Daniels, Founder and President of 95.1 FM radio Omini Chicago, Tracy Bell, Media Personality, Candace Jordan, International Vocalist and Founder of Timeless Gifts, Joan Collaso, Musician and Founder of New Black Renaissance, Tony Cazeau, and Entertainment Promoter, Mr. Lee. The event will be hosted by Veteran Journalist, Robin Robinson. Special appearances by; First Lady of Motown, Claudette Robinson. Special tribute to: Ramsey Lewis, Nancy Wilson, Lou Rawls, Bobby Womack, Tyrone Davis and Phyllis Hyman. Performances by: Ray Goodman and Brown, Regina Rice, Julia Huff, Stan Mosley, Theo Huff, Joan Collaso,, Loretta Holloway, Freddie B, Copeland Davis, Darcus, Next Movement and Special Surprise Guests. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Jazz Institute of Chicago. The event will be VIP-5:00PM-7:00PM- Meet and Greet, Dinner, VIP seating in the Theater. Doors open at 7 PM for General Admission-Ceremony only. Complimentary Parking is available.
