The “Empowerment for Victims and Families of Domestic Violence Program” consists of instructor led group classes which are provided for victims of domestic violence.The classes are designed to help victims, survivors, and by:1) Learning about the dynamics of intimate partner violence and what they need to do to stay safe and protect themselves and their children.2) Learning how to make good decisions that can help create healthier, more harmonious lives3) Live violent free lives that will serve as a positive role model for their children.The “Empowerment for Victims and Families of Domestic Violence and Abuse” is an eight hour curriculum which consists of four two hour classes that are held one time per week. The victims also create a safety plan with the help of the program instructor and volunteer facilitators.
