Black in Fashion: Sewn in Excellence A FASHION EXHIBITION & INTERGENERATIONAL CONVERSATION COMMEMORATING 50 YEARS OF HIP HOP. This event commemorates Hip Hop's 50th Anniversary through a fashion exhibition and panel featuring Hip Hop and Fashion Legends. Open to all ages. Newark has always been an essential city and stop on the trail to stardom for our hometown legends and others in Hip Hop. Come out and learn about iconic, historical Hip Hop moments that led to a movement that's still going strong. Curated by Chiffani Brands Unlimited in collaboration with Newark Public Library. Free parking is available at the Essex County Parking Deck (formerly the Bears/ Eagle Stadium Parking Garage) which is located at 20-54 Bridge Street.
