Fairs are a great way for nonprofits to support their volunteer recruitment efforts by engaging with prospective volunteers in person. The University of North Georgia will be hosting the annual Volunteer Fair on the Blue Ridge Campus. With the motto Serve, Learn, Volunteer, The Volunteer Fair advances UNG’s mission of community engagement by inviting community organizations to campus and introducing them to a pool of students and potential volunteers. The date is: Thursday, March 30, 2023– Blue Ridge Campus The Volunteer Fair recognizes and celebrates the immense contributions of the nonprofit sector to our community and provides our students with service-learning, internship, and volunteer opportunities so that they learn about and become more engaged in our community. Doing so reinforces UNG’s commitment to developing students as leaders for a diverse and global society. We will provide the following services at no charge to facilitate your organization’s participation: A display area complete with a table and chairsStudent volunteers to assist your agency with setting up and taking down exhibits,etc.RefreshmentsI am hopeful that you will be able to join us for Volunteer Fair 2023 to advertise the great work of your organization and to recruit volunteers.
