Maple Grove Mayor Mark Steffenson cordially invites you to the 17th Annual Mayor's Prayer Breakfast. This community event takes place Thursday, May 4, from 7:15 to 9 a.m. at Rush Creek Golf Club. This year's keynote speaker, David Johnson, served as the senior pastor at Church of the Open Door in Maple Grove from 1980 until 2018, when he stepped down to form a non-profit ministry called Things that Remain, designed to support pastors and leaders. David is a sought-after speaker and the author of three books. He and his wife, Bonnie, make their home in Maple Grove. The event also includes music, buffet breakfast, and an opportunity to visit with other attendees and share in the joy of living and working in our community. Since its inception in 2005, the prayer breakfast has been a celebration open to all faiths and interests. Please note event registration closes on April 20, 2023.
