The Interlock celebrates two-year anniversary with free block party

ATLANTA, Ga. — The Interlock, a $750 million award-winning mixed-use project with unparalleled entertainment, living and dining options, office space and outdoor connections, amenities and parks, is celebrating its two-year anniversary this month with a free circus themed block party. On Thursday, March 23 from 6 to 9 p.m., attendees can gather in Highline Park, located on Beeline Boulevard at The Interlock, to enjoy limited free food and drinks along with various live entertainment experiences, including jugglers, a clown, fortune teller and strolling magicians. Tippy Tap Champagne Truck will also be on-site serving up bubbly. The event is open to the public and family-friendly. The Interlock welcomed its first tenant openings for phase one in the first quarter of 2021. On Howell Mill Road and Beeline Boulevard, the mixed-use, highly amenitized office and entertainment district has a curated mix of fine dining, fast casual restaurants, retail shopping and entertainment spaces. Phase one of the project has a robust tenant list, including 12 Oaks Parking, Kinjo Room, Bellyard, Chase Bank, Empower, Georgia Tech Airbnb, Georgia Tech Encore, Guac y Margys, Holiday Bar, Humble Pie, Innovien, Kimball, Lovesac, Pindrop, Pour Taproom, Puttshack, Rooftop L.O.A., Sandbox VR, SJC Ventures, Speedchain, St. Germain French Bakery, Stream Realty, Taste Boutique, Velvet Taco, WeWork and Windsor. Knuckies, Lock and Key, Trufusion and Vida-flo have also signed leases to join the mixed-use development. Phase two of The Interlock, under construction now, will offer the same walkability and connection as the first, and both phases will connect via a one-acre public park. Anchored by a 42,000-square-foot Publix grocery store, phase two of The Interlock will also feature 670 rooms for Georgia Tech student housing, 275,000 square feet of commercial space and limited additional restaurant opportunities. Tenants signed for phase two include Publix, Pinky Promise Champagne Bar, The X Pot, City Nails, GoodVets, Starbucks, Kura Revolving Sushi Bar, Salon Lofts and Five Guys. Since its opening, The Interlock has hosted a number of free community events, including block parties, fitness classes, live music, artisan markets and locally-focused charity events in order to create a welcoming environment to the West Midtown neighborhood and market.
