This training will provide an overview of factors that may impact the development of mental health pathology for immigrant, refugee, and asylee clients.
Further, the training will identify potential ethical concerns that may arise in treating this population, and further investigate strategies for mitigating these challenges. Participants will engage in interactive discussion, case conceptualization, and creating an action plan for incorporating multiculturally competent interventions into their clinical work.
This training will be led by Rachel Singer, PhD. Completion of this training is worth 1 CEU credit for counselors, social workers, and psychologists in the state of Maryland. This training will be offered virtually. Zoom details will be sent out as the event gets closer!
Please note: you will only receive CEU credits if you attend the training live. We can not award home study CEU credits.
