Rita Goldberg is the Founder of British Swim School and British Swim School Franchise USA. Born and raised in Manchester England she was an Olympic hopeful until an injury destroyed that dream. Her decision to transform that passion into a business in the 1980’s was met with much adversity both because the business model was obscure, and because she was a young woman. Every step was challenging yet the experience only served to make her stronger and determined to succeed. In 1991 she emigrated to the USA, leaving her previous life behind, to start over completely. You will get to hear the story of how she managed to build her business from scratch again in the US when she was in her mid 40's, a stranger to this country with just a few thousand dollars in her pocket. Over a period of time she turned her swim school model into a hugely successful Franchise. Her swimming school empire grew into 77 franchises in 20 States. Both she and her company won numerous awards for their lifesaving work and business accomplishments before she sold the enterprise in 2019. As a highly successful business woman and experienced speaker, Rita as a Keynote Speaker, is now sharing her story to encourage, motivate and inspire entrepreneurs to "swim against the current and find success."
