This signup is for Kindergarten - 4th Grade youth in the Cedar Rapids area interested in joining the Cub Scout Pack at Pierce Elementary School. Interested in joining Pierce Elementary Cub Scouts? Come out to the Imon Ice Arena and join us for a night of playing Broomball! Imagine ice hockey on shoes instead of skates, using a broom-shaped stick, played with a small soccer ball. We will be setting up 3 games based on age. Participants are required to have a helmet (bike, skateboard, scooter style helmets work) and winter gloves. Snow pants provide padding for falls. Winter recess gear works perfect. We will have some extra helmets but they will be limited in supply. Parents are required to stay at the event and must be present to sign a waiver. Parents will be able to accompany their youth on the ice and participate if extra equipment is available. Adult leaders will be available to talk with parents and answer questions during the activity. Please arrive early so we can start right away. Our ice time starts at 5:30 and is limited to 1 hour.
