The Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio (ICCGS) will join us again for a workshop to coincide with our TAG beer release. Workshops are held here at Lion Bridge Brewing Company. Participants will be hand crafting a bowl from clay. You will then use various tools to create texture and the paint on glazes to decorate the inside of your bowls, like a cross section of an orange. Add whatever you like that could be on the inside of your fruit (seeds, divided sections, peel, etc.). You will learn how to use various hand building techniques to create a one of a kind fruit bowl. Projects will then be taken back to ICCGS to dry and then coated with a special clear glaze and fired twice in their kilns. Your finished bowl will be approximately 4x4 and will be available for pickup 3 weeks later at ICCGS. 1LB beer is included with the purchase of your ticket.
