We're very excited to announce An Evening of Hymns and Stories with Kevin and Cooper Twit, March 25th at 7:30 PM, doors open at 6:30 PM. We desire for this to be a community event open to all, so please invite your friends, family and neighbors! No RSVP needed.
Rev. Kevin Twit is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and Covenant Theological Seminary. He served as a Pastor at Christ Community Church for 8 years and has been the RUF Campus Minister at Belmont University in Nashville, TN since 1995. In 1999 Kevin began Indelible Grace Music with some of his students. Indelible Grace has been at the heart of the movement to reset old hymn texts to new music and have recorded 8 CDs as well as a documentary film, “Roots And Wings: The Story Of Indelible Grace And The RUF Hymns.” Many of us have enjoyed singing these hymns over the years, but few know the stories behind this beloved music. Indelible Grace has always been committed to promoting hymns that are deeply honest about suffering but also explicit about the gospel of grace. We trust that this will be a wonderful avenue for us to soak in these truths in a fresh way. Kevin will be joined by his son, Cooper, as well as others from the City Church music team.
Please note that we will not be offering childcare for this event.
