Join us for the third annual Columbia Memorial Stair Climb Brotherhood Bash, happening the Friday night before the climb!
We will have an amazing guest speaker, a DJ/Emcee to be announced soon,a taco bar catered by Hyvee , and a cash beverage bar! As if that wasn't enough there will also be incredible raffle items, a HUGE bourbon bottle raffle, and an always popular bourbon LIVE auction!!
Our guest speaker this year is Richard Palmer, a retired NYC Department of Corrections Officer. Just to peak behind the curtain of this hero, Richard responded the September 11th attacks with a team of 60 officers, directly to Ground Zero after the first plane hit. He established and ran the temporary morgue on site at Ground Zero, as well. Since 2008, Richard made over 100 trips to Washington DC over a 12 year period, playing a MAJOR role in getting the 9/11 Health Care and Victim Compensation Bill passed. We are very excited to hear his stories and have him join us!
As this bash falls on Cinco de Mayo, we have decided its the perfect time to have tacos, tequila, and margaritas!
This years location will be at Elks Lodge in Columbia, MO. At $25 a ticket, you will have dinner, a commemorative glass, and a complimentary beer. And this year... KIDS EAT FREE! Thats right, kids 12 and under can get in for free! We ask that you still purchase a ticket for the children, however, so we can get an accurate head count for the catered food. The kids free ticket does NOT come with a commemorative glass and complimentary beer.
This event is open to the public and family friendly but tickets must be purchased for all in attendance, regardless of age.
There are 200 tickets available and they WILL NOT be available for day-of purchase so get them while you can.
You DO NOT have to be a registered climber to attend this event.
