March session - Food production. We will discuss how people got their food and what it was like to live and work on a farm in the 1700s. Hands on activities include cheese and butter making. Meets in the Mruk building. April session - Clothing production. Learn how farm families made their clothing. See the fibers and equipment and make a simple woven fabric. Meets in the Paine House Tavern. May session - Leisure time. See the toys and games enjoyed when folks had time to play. Make your own cornhusk doll. Meets in the Paine House Tavern. These sessions are suitable for all ages, at least one adult must stay with children.
