Show Hope's Hope for the Journey Conference is designed to equip anyone living with or working with children and youth impacted by traumatic experiences. We will be bringing together teaching, resources, and practical experiences to help parents and caregivers (and the churches and organizations) better understand their hurting children.
Our vision for foster parents, kinship parents, and adoptive parents is to build community through connection right here in Dayton. We desire to equip those serving children and youth as mentors, pastors, and teachers with a better understanding of the impact of trauma and the strategies to bring healing.
Foster parent training credit is available.
CEU's (8.5) for social workers and counselors are available, too.
