Central State University Extension Family and Consumer Sciences Program (FCS), in conjunction with Male Behavioral Health (MBH) in Columbus, OH, is hosting a community conversation on the topic of Black suicide on March 30, 2023, from 6-8:00 PM at Central State University-Dayton, 840 Germantown Street, Dayton, OH 45402. “Restoring Hope and Reclaiming Lives: Confronting Black Suicide,” presented by Male Behavioral Health, is designed to bring communities together to address the topic of Black Suicide. Jewel Woods, M.A., MSW, LISW-S, who is the Founder and Clinical Director of (MBH), will facilitate the discussion. MBH is an outpatient mental health practice in Columbus, Ohio dedicated to addressing the mental, emotional, and behavioral health needs of men and boys, and the Center for Men & Boys. Woods has led this discussion series across multiple cities in Ohio and concludes this year’s series in Dayton.
